I know for a fact, that hearts do not lie.

And when many hearts resonate, in unison, bound together by a common desire to accept and be accepted; to love and be loved – how exciting it is to witness the blooming of such a bond, and how amazing it is to be a part of it!

And although the rivers of time may flow, and our lives diverge from the single path once journeyed upon by our loved ones – a piece of our collective hearts will always be with each and everyone of us, a piece that everyone will miss; a treasured memory of a beautiful time.

The heart, it does not lie. Love can change lives, and who is to say that love could not change the future? They might question your choice of friends, the authenticity of your friendships, the potentially ephemeral nature of such an encounter, and the sustainability of such intense relationships, but your heart knows the answer.

People may change, and as we all ‘grow up’, we may start behaving differently compared to what we are now, but memories still stay and will stay, of a beautiful time when we stood bare and sincere among a group of people that we could trust; when we laughed and cried together, and stood there locked in a desperate embrace, wishing that the inevitable goodbye would never befall us.

Goodbyes will only remain so, if we choose to forget.
